Hermit Crab
We have two hermit crabs , Lisa and Kristen , and they have finally finished molting . Kristen came up from the sand last week and Lisa came out today . The kids were so excited . The weather has turned colder here and snow and ice are forcast for this weekend . The Smokeys are already white from an earlier snow this past week . I am posting a devotion that I wrote last summer . I felt the need to post it so I'm sure God will lead someone here who needs to read it .

Who I Am
I am a saved by GRACE CHRISTian mother of four , two beautiful daughters 13 and 6 and two handsome sons 11 and 9 ! I am married to a wonderful man , Todd , who is a Baptist preacher . We live in the awesome Smokey Mountains of Tennessee . I used to teach in a Christian school but have come back to homeschooling so that I can be available to care for my Mother who has MS and to be more involved with my children's education . We have many different ways in which we homeschool . We use textbooks for some subjects and unit studies for others . We also take advantage of the many free resources online and in our area to expand our homeschool learning . We have been blessed to live in an area packed with amazing wildlife . Birdfeeding is one of our favorite things to do . I created this blog to share some of our experiences and to try to help others with links I have found to help me .
